• Advanced Hand Technique : Moeller Technique, Open Close Technique 
• Advanced Feet Technique : Swivel, Constant Release
• Odd Time Grooves : 5/4, 7/4, 9/4 , 11/4 (Counting Odd Times, Playing Odd Times)
• Advanced Fill Ins : Polyrhythmic, Odd Groupings, Gospel Fill Ins
• Drum Soloing (Within a song or playing solo)
• Progressive rock/metal (Animals As Leaders, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson)
• Advanced Fusion (in the style of Benny Greb, Anika Nilles)
• Time Displacement (Metric Modulation)
